Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Labourer or Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various phases of building projects, from framing to finishing. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labour tasks necessary for framing, drywall installation, siding, and concrete forming.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks such as concrete finishing, woodworking, and installation of building materials.
- Support concrete forming processes and ensure proper placement and curing of concrete structures.
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishes according to project specifications.




- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with heavy machinery, welding equipment, and during high-risk activities like working at heights or with heavy materials.
- Maintain a clean worksite by organizing tools and materials, ensuring a safe environment for all team members.

Experience

- Prior construction experience is required; familiarity with framing, drywall installation, concrete forming, or siding is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to support precise construction tasks.
- Experience operating power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures related to heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation, and working at heights.
- Skills in woodworking, concrete finishing techniques, and basic welding are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labour.
