About the Role

- This position is specifically focused on low-rise residential construction. Candidates should have direct hands-on project management experience in renovation, addition, and/or custom home projects.

What We’re Looking For

- This is a senior-level, highly autonomous role. The successful candidate is expected to take full ownership of assigned projects and manage day-to-day project decisions independently, with minimal involvement from senior management.

- Independently manage multiple residential renovation, addition, and custom home projects from pre-construction through completion

- Participate in design review, budgeting, scheduling, constructability review, and project planning before construction begins

- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, construction timelines, and cost controls

- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site staff, consultants, and clients across multiple active projects

- Review architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings and identify potential construction issues before they affect site work

- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, quality standards, Ontario Building Code compliance, and project specifications

- Manage material orders, purchase orders, subcontract agreements,



construction draws, and change orders

- Monitor labour, material usage, project costs, and site progress to minimize delays and cost overruns

- Resolve construction and coordination issues promptly and keep trades and project schedules moving efficiently

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including site reports, receipts, change orders, inspections, and project records

- Communicate project progress, changes, scheduling, and site issues clearly with clients and internal teams

- Experience managing 100+ residential renovation and addition projects is strongly preferred

Requirements

- Minimum 15 years of low-rise residential construction experience in Ontario

- Extensive experience with residential renovations, additions, and custom home construction

- Solid knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and residential construction methods

- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, mechanical, and permit drawings

- Strong knowledge of GTA subcontractors, trades, suppliers, construction materials, and local construction costs

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office; construction project management software experience is an asset

- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between GTA job sites

Pay: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
