Krawford Construction is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team.

From seniors facilities, to schools, healthcare, recreation centres, churches, interior renovations, and even golf course renovations, our projects are diverse. We take on specialized projects with unique challenges that cultivate growth for even the most experienced project managers.

Responsibilities will include:

- Leading construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontracts
- Working closely with owners, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Managing project costs, changes, cash flow, and forecasting
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes, and contracts to identify opportunities and potential risks
- Leading project meetings and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders
- Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, deficiencies, and project documentation




- Working closely with the Superintendent and the site team to coordinate construction activities
- Identifying risks and developing practical solutions to keep projects moving
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and project partners
- Supporting estimating, pre-construction, design-build, and business development activities where required
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Krawford's standards
- Mentoring and supporting junior project managers and project coordinators
- Taking ownership of the project—and its outcome

Requirements for Candidates:

- 5+ years of construction experience, with experience managing commercial construction projects
- Experience with Viewpoint or similar project management software
- Experience with MS Project or similar scheduling software
- Strong understanding of construction methods, various construction contract types, scheduling/sequencing, budgeting/costing, and project risk controls
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving abilities
- A strong understanding of safety, quality control, and construction best practices
- A post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a construction related discipline.
