Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment on-site
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and handing tools or supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the construction site by removing debris and hazards
- Help with site setup and breakdown for daily operations, including setting up barriers or signage
- Perform basic tasks such as digging, mixing concrete, or assisting with measurements under supervision
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for everyone
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately to site supervisors to uphold safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or manual labour is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and practices is a plus
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
