Role Description The Control Panel Builder/Wireperson is a full-time, on-site role based in Stoney Creek, ON. This position focuses on assembling and wiring industrial control panels according to electrical schematics, layout drawings, and technical specifications. Day-to-day tasks include mounting and labeling components, routing and terminating wires, performing continuity and quality checks, and ensuring panels meet CSA and internal standards.

The role also involves collaborating with engineers and designers, identifying and resolving wiring or layout issues,



maintaining a clean and safe work area, and documenting work as required. The successful candidate will contribute to the timely delivery of high-quality panels for a variety of industrial applications.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with control panel assembly, component mounting, and industrial electrical wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Knowledge of CSA or equivalent electrical standards and best practices for industrial control panels.
- Strong attention to detail with skills in basic electrical testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks.
- Valuable organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with designers, electricians, and project managers.
- Relevant technical education in electrical or industrial controls; trade certification is an asset.
- Comfort working in a manufacturing environment and following all health and safety procedures.

Salary
