Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging classroom instruction on crane operation principles, safety protocols, and industry best practices
- Conduct practical training sessions using real or simulated crane equipment to develop students’ operational skills
- Assess student performance through evaluations, demonstrations, and written tests to ensure competency
- Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and instructional guides to stay current with industry standards
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, active participation, and continuous improvement
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and certification status in compliance with regulatory requirements




- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and improve curriculum effectiveness

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a crane operator with a strong understanding of various crane types and operations
- Prior classroom experience or teaching background is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse learners
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to crane operation
- Ability to assess student performance accurately and provide constructive feedback
- Robust organizational skills to manage training schedules and documentation effectively
- Certifications such as NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) or equivalent are preferred
