We are seeking an energetic and passionate Creative & STEAM Program Instructor to inspire young minds through engaging, hands-on activities that blend creativity, science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. In this role, you will lead dynamic classes designed to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in children. Your enthusiasm for teaching and experience working with children will help create a vibrant learning environment where students can explore their interests and develop essential skills for the future.

Duties

- Plan and deliver interactive STEAM activities that align with educational standards and age-appropriate curricula
- Facilitate creative projects that incorporate arts, science experiments, coding, robotics,
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and collaboration
- Assess student progress through observations and feedback, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
- Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up activity stations, and ensuring cleanliness and safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative program ideas and improve instructional strategies
- Loves to make, build, create, and invent
- Enjoys figuring out how things work
- Comfortable presenting and demonstrating projects

Skills We’re looking for creative Inventors, Makers, and Creators who enjoy working with children and teens and love figuring out how things work.

You may have experience or an interest in:

- Inventing, creating, and experimenting
- Building and engineering
- Coding and programming
- Robotics
- Motors and moving mechanisms
- Circuits and electronics
- LEDs and electrical components
- 3D design and making
- Working with recycled and everyday materials
- Designing and building unique projects
- Taking things apart to understand how they work and figuring out how to make them better!

Experience with coding, motors, circuits, electronics, robotics, or engineering is a bonus, but creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to explore new ideas are just as important. We want people who can bring their own ideas and creativity to the program and help children discover that they can be inventors too.

You don't need to be an expert in everything. We're looking for someone who is curious, creative, hands-on, and excited to learn. If you have an idea for a project or workshop, bring it to us we'd love to hear it!

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 6.0 per week
