We current have an opportunity for a full time Machinist Grinder to join our PCC Brampton Ontario Team. We are looking for a Team player, who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing exceptional results for our customers.

Afternoon and Midnight Shift

Hourly Rate: $26.00-$30.00

Responsibilities

· Perform daily check for machine condition: coolant level, cleanliness…;

· Read and follow job instructions (grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, and grinding wheel) and fill job traveler

· Setup and operate NC/CNC cylindrical grinding machine to grind parts with tolerance 0.001” or less

· Machine Setup (Loading Fixture, Tools & Program)

· Machine Trouble Shooting

· Safely and efficiently operate machining equipment

· Safely and efficiently operate conventional lathes to manufacture products to customer supplied specifications.

· Basic Print Reading

· Participate on cross training when necessary

Requirement





· Accurate measuring skills needed use of micrometer, dial indicators snap gauges

· Ideally, 1-3 years experience as a cylindrical grinder

· Minimum 3 years of experience in machining To comply with U.S. Government export control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the company is registered in the Controlled Goods Program and as such the successful candidate will be required to complete a security assessment in order to access Controlled Goods
