In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely assisting our driver in transporting freight, packages, and equipment to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent service.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand tools.
- Manage freight handling processes with precision, ensuring accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to maintain optimal safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate delivery schedules and address any route changes or issues.
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to keep vehicles in top condition.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, freight documentation, and equipment usage for accountability and reporting purposes.

Requirements





- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating large vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and manage freight handling procedures.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight transportation.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing delivery schedules and documentation.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
- Nice-to-have skills include forklift certification, experience handling freight logistics, and familiarity with heavy equipment operation.
