We are seeking a reliable and professional Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. This role focuses on supporting the dentist and hygienist during clinical procedures while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced, patient focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient appointments
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments according to infection control standards
- Take and develop dental X-rays as required
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and professionalism
- Update and maintain accurate patient records using dental management software
- Assist with impressions, suctioning, charting, and chairside support
- Provide post operative instructions and basic oral care guidance to patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas




- Support front desk or administrative tasks when needed

Qualifications and Requirements

- Dental Assistant certification or diploma preferred
- Previous experience in a dental clinic is an asset
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Professional appearance and patient first mindset
