Duties

- Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out using dental practice management software.
- Schedule appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and manage cancellations with precision.
- Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls, and provide information confidently.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Tracker
- Verify insurance details, process claims, and communicate coverage information clearly to patients.
- Manage front desk operations by organizing files, processing payments, and coordinating with clinical staff.
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy,



welcoming, and organized to promote a positive patient experience.

Experience

- Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic is essential.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry enhances communication accuracy.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems ensures efficient documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multi-line phone systems and manage busy front desk environments effectively.
- Prior administrative experience in a healthcare setting supports seamless office operations.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with a friendly demeanor are key to success in this role.
