Join our energetic dental team as a Temporary Dental Hygienist for a three-week assignment! We are looking for someone to cover the weeks November 9-26.

Work schedule is Monday to Thursday. This exciting opportunity allows you to showcase your expertise in maintaining excellent oral health and providing exceptional patient care. You'll work closely with our friendly team in a fast-paced, supportive environment, ensuring patients receive top-quality hygiene services while gaining valuable experience. This paid position is perfect for licensed hygienists seeking a short-term role that makes a real difference in patients’ smiles and overall well-being.

Duties

- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
- Assist with patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to encourage healthy habits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols and technical standards.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management
- Support the dental team with chairside assistance during procedures, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols at all times.




- Communicate effectively with diverse patients, including pediatric and orthodontic cases, providing compassionate customer service.

Experience

- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting, ideally with pediatrics and orthodontics.
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix is highly preferred.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with a diverse patient base.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and patient records management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for all patients.
- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
