Job Summary

We are seeking a agile and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between patients and our dental practice, ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation through treatment planning and scheduling. Your energetic approach will help educate patients about their dental care options, coordinate appointments efficiently, and facilitate smooth communication with the clinical team.

Responsibilities

- Educate patients about recommended treatments, financial options, and insurance coverage, ensuring clarity and confidence in their care plans.
- Coordinate treatment schedules by collaborating with dentists, hygienists, and other team members to optimize patient flow.
- Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and explain financial arrangements clearly to patients.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries promptly, schedule appointments, and follow up on patient needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans,



and billing information in dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Support front desk operations by handling administrative tasks efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

- Proven experience working as a dental receptionist or in a dental office environment with familiarity using dental software (preferably Open Denal)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and general healthcare practices.
- Prior experience managing electronic medical records (EMRs) and handling insurance claims processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office setting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with patients, team members, and insurance providers.
