You are

- a certified LPN nurse
- someone with an excellent work ethic and able to commit to full time hours onsite
- motivated to learn about conditions including alopecia, acne, eczema, psoriasis and skin cancer and treat them alongside the dermatologist

Interested candidates should send a cover letter/paragraph of interest. Our hiring process includes a mandatory 1-hour observership. Selected tasks for this role include:

· Complete initial patient intake assessment for new and follow up dermatology patients

· Complete documentation up to clinical standards in a timely fashion

· Provide patient education for common dermatology diagnoses and procedures, wound care and after-visit instructions

· Call back patients regarding clinical questions, results, wound care, and communicate additional management

· Take high quality clinical photos for patient chart

· Monitor labs in between office visits

· Triage incoming referrals and phone calls from pharmacy/primary care

· Administer subcutaneous injections (e.g. cortisone injections)



and participate in other minor medical and cosmetic procedures (e.g. platelet rich plasma)

· Initiate special authority forms/patient support program enrolment for biologic medications

· Draw up and dilute medications for injection (e.g. Botox)

· Initiate referrals to other specialists under the direction of the dermatologist

· Set up surgical trays and assist with procedures

· Operate autoclave/comply with medical device reprocessing protocols

· Support projects related to continuous quality improvement in patient care

· Manage pathology and microbiology specimens

· Manage task list in electronic medical record (MedAccess EMR)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
