Overview

United Way Golden Horseshoe brings people and resources together in a way that makes our community a better, safer and healthier place to live, work and play.

This position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts and donor relationships, while actively identifying and securing new revenue opportunities. The Development

Officer, Growth & Partnerships balances strong relationship management with proactive business development, expanding existing partnerships and opening new doors across corporate, employee,

and individual giving. This position plays a critical role in driving sustainable revenue growth by retaining and expanding current supporters and sourcing new opportunities through both warm and cold prospect outreach.

Responsibilities

- Identify, pursue, and secure new partnership and fundraising opportunities through both warm relationships and targeted outreach to new prospects
- Build, manage, and advance a pipeline of donor prospects, including new business partnerships using CRM and prospect research tools
- Coordinate and deliver multiple fundraising activities, presentations,



and campaign timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Support and engage workplace campaign teams, senior volunteers, and temporary campaign staff
- Track performance against targets, analyze results, and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and partner experiency

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fundraising, account management, sales, or partnership development
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and pursue new opportunities
- Robust communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfort initiating outreach and engaging prospective partners
- Excellent stakeholder relationship capabilities
- Experience using CRM systems
