Essential job functions:

Operations

- Responsible for developing and managing individual site business plans including investment objectives, compliance goals, marketing positioning, people, asset quality, and financial goals and objectives.
- At any given time, a Director of Property Management should be able to describe the overall makeup: strengths, weaknesses and needs of each property in their given portfolio.
- Accountable for review and approval of all property purchasing with complete adherence to the expense budget.
- Work with Property Managers and Maintenance Supervisors to ensure timely preparation of rent ready apartments to fully meet the demand of the market.
- Accountable for property risk management, safety standards and employee and resident liability.
- Determine, implement and follow up on any corrective action plans for deficiencies found at properties.
- Manage resident complaint escalations ensuring a positive resolution.
- Developing,



mentoring and leading a high-performing, cohesive team, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover.
- Leading by example, instilling and modeling the Rhapsody mission to be the best national management company.
- Ensure team is up to do date on mandatory and legislative training initiatives.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in related field.
- 7+ years of in office property management experience
- Bilingual in French (preferred) and English is mandatory
- 2 + years’ proven experience in Regional or Director capacity
- 3+ years’ experience in writing, review and maintaining budgets
- Proficient in Yardi property management software or other similar property management software
- General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite
