Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our back-of-house team.

In this role, your primary focus is keeping our kitchen equipment, tableware, and cookware spotless and ready for service. When the dish pit is clear, you will jump in on light food preparation such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling salads to keep the kitchen running smoothly and ensure there is always something productive to do.

Key Responsibilities

- Dishwashing & Sanitation: Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual washing methods.
- Food Prep & Support: Assist line cooks with light prep work during downtime (e.g., salad assembly, vegetable prep, portioning sauces/dressings).
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized dish area and prep stations.
- Waste Management: Empty kitchen trash cans, compost,



and recycling containers as needed.
- Restocking: Keep cook lines and service stations stocked with clean plates, bowls, and utensils throughout the shift.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Strong work ethic, high energy, and a willingness to stay busy.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Versatile availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior kitchen, dishwasher, or prep cook experience is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated candidates with the right attitude!

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
