Responsibilities

- Maintain a spotless kitchen by thoroughly cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment throughout each shift
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items according to recipes and standards
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by organizing supplies and ensuring all food handling protocols are followed
- Ensure proper storage of food items, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination
- Help with general kitchen cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, waste disposal, and maintaining organized workstations
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes while maintaining high standards of hospitality

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service workplace is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and basic kitchen operations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail in cleaning, food prep, and organization
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with hospitality standards or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, sanitary environment aligned with health regulations
