Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will manage freight schedules, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely delivery. This role is vital in maintaining productive shipping and receiving processes, supporting our commitment to excellent service.

The Dispatcher will play a key role in optimizing freight movements, managing data entry, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily dispatch operations using transportation management systems such as SyteLine and AS400 to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Manage freight shipments, tracking, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with shipping & receiving protocols.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills.
- Monitor supply chain activities related to 3PL providers and freight carriers to optimize routing and delivery schedules.
- Perform data entry related to shipments, inventory updates, and logistics records with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analyze transportation data to identify inefficiencies or delays,



providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Oversee shipping & receiving operations, ensuring proper handling of goods and timely updates in the system.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff on shipping schedules and inventory management.
- Maintain organized records of dispatch activities, shipment statuses, and related documentation.

Requirements

FLATBED DISPATCH EXPERIENCE PREFERED

- Proven experience with transportation management systems such as SyteLine, AS400, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, freight management, and 3PL operations.
- Excellent data entry skills with high typing speed and accuracy.
- Analytical skills to interpret transportation data and identify operational improvements.
- Effective communication skills including phone etiquette for interacting with drivers, clients, and team members.
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
