Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Perform exact acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques and high-quality needles to stimulate specific points for therapeutic benefit
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture, including lifestyle adjustments and complementary therapies to optimize outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress and responses in accordance with medical standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care plans that support overall health goals
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper sterilization and infection control practices
- Stay current with advancements in acupuncture techniques, medical terminology, and holistic health practices through ongoing education
Qualifications
- Valid certification or licensure as a Doctor of Acupuncture or equivalent credential in your region
- Proven experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, demonstrating strong patient care skills
- Deep understanding of medical terminology relevant to holistic health and acupuncture treatments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients during their healing journey
- Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on best practices in acupuncture and integrative medicine
Pay: From $97.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 18.0 per week
