Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence
- Provide attentive caregiving to meet the individual needs of children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring they receive appropriate care and educational opportunities
- Collaborate with families and team members to share progress and address any concerns or special requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Document children’s development milestones and daily activities to track progress and inform planning
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings is highly preferred
- Classroom experience demonstrating the ability to manage group activities and foster positive interactions
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset
- Solid background in early childhood education principles and practices
- Proven ability to engage children through teaching, play-based learning, and caregiving techniques
