Before & After School Program Assistant

Schedule: Monday to Friday – Split Shift

Progressive Alliance for Welfare Society (PAWS) is looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic Before & After School Program Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging workplace for school-aged children.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

- Morning: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Applicants must be available for both the morning and afternoon shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assist with indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, and play.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment.
- Support children with daily routines and transitions.
- Assist with snacks and general program organization.




- Maintain a clean and safe program environment.
- Communicate professionally with children, parents, and team members.
- Follow PAWS policies, procedures, and applicable childcare licensing requirements.

Qualifications
- Experience working with school-aged children is an asset.
- Caring, patient, responsible, and dependable.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be available for the morning and afternoon split shifts.
- Criminal Record Check will be required
