Reporting to the Childcare Manager, the Multi-Site Early Childhood Educator will work across Black Mountain Childcare Centre, Dilworth Mountain Childcare Centre, George Elliot Secondary, and Landmark Childcare Centre, based on operational and staffing needs.

You will help create protected, engaging, and child-centred environments while delivering programming in accordance with the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum. Working alongside different child care teams, you will build meaningful relationships with children and families and help maintain a consistent, positive YMCA experience across all four locations.

This position is ideal for an adaptable educator who enjoys variety, building new relationships, and being part of multiple supportive teams.

What You Will Do

As a Multi-Site Early Childhood Educator, you will:

- Provide ECE support across Black Mountain, Dilworth Mountain, George Elliot Secondary,



and Landmark child care locations based on operational needs.
- Plan, implement, lead, and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning experiences using the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.
- Create safe, welcoming, and engaging environments where children can learn, explore, and build confidence.
- Adapt to the routines, programming needs, and team environments of different child care locations.
- Build positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, and YMCA colleagues.
- Collaborate with educators across multiple locations to provide consistent, child-centred programming.
- Maintain positive communication with families and provide welcoming, responsive service.
- Support children's individual needs using positive, child-centred approaches.
- Ensure licensing, health, and safety standards are maintained during programming, routines, and outings.
- Contribute positively to each child care team and support a collaborative YMCA environment.

What You Bring

- A valid British Columbia Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate.
- Must be at least 19 years of age in accordance with Provincial licensing requirements.
- Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR Level B or C.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development, and well-being.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively with different teams and child care environments.
- Ability to quickly become familiar with the routines and needs of different YMCA child care locations.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute wherever support is needed.
