Support youth at North York General as a Child & Youth Counsellor in the Eating Disorder Day Program. Focus on recovery and wellness through collaborative patient and family care. As a Child & Youth Counsellor at NYGH, you will directly assist patients and their families in a supportive environment.

This full time role involves creating and implementing effective care plans while maintaining strong communication with healthcare professionals and families. Your ability to think critically and work effectively alone or in teams will enhance patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient and family care in the program
- Develop collaborative care plans within the healthcare team
- Act as a role model for colleagues and students
- Engage in comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Participate in professional development and quality improvement Requirements:
- Certified Child & Youth Counsellor Diploma
- Practical knowledge of DBT and FBT for Eating Disorders
- Preferred degree in a related field
- Membership in O.A.C.Y.C. is preferred
