We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ECE Assistant Level 1 - 2 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children by assisting lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities

- Support classroom activities by assisting with daily routines, including play, learning, and meal times
- Help implement educational programs tailored to children's developmental needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages exploration and social interaction among children
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure clarity and consistency in care and instruction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces using computer skills for record-keeping
- Assist in supervising children during outdoor activities, field trips, and transitions throughout the day




- Support lead teachers in documenting children's progress through writing reports and organizational records

Education & Experience

- ECE Diploma or Certificate
- 0-2 yrs. experience working with children in childcare settings or early childhood education environments is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are considered an asset for effective communication with diverse families
- Robust communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom materials and documentation efficiently
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a dynamic classroom setting
