Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECE Level 2 professional to join our early childhood education team. This role involves supporting the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have experience working with children. Responsibilities

- Assist in implementing age-appropriate educational activities and curriculum plans for young children
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through engaging interactions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive learning experience
- Use computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance early childhood education practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Manage time efficiently to balance instructional duties with classroom management tasks

Skills





- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French are highly desirable
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including classroom experience
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Leadership qualities to support classroom activities and peer collaboration
- Writing skills for documentation, reports, and communication with parents
- Computer literacy including basic computer operation for record keeping and lesson planning

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
