Job Summary

We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) for part time leading to a full time position. Between our two locations, 845 West 20th Ave and 4038 Miller Street both in Vancouver.

We are a small school with 8 children to one teacher.

Must be comfortable working with children alone after training.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK December 14th - 24th 2026

8AM - 5PM at our West 20th location.

Duties

- Assist in creating a safe and engaging classroom workplace for children.
- Support daily activities such as play, learning exercises, and social interactions.
- Implement lesson plans and educational activities.
- Maintain communication with parents.
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently met within the classroom setting.

Skills





- Prior classroom experience working with young children is preferred.
- Comfortable working alone in a classroom setting
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage children in meaningful activities.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Compassionate caregiving skills with patience and understanding.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, families.

Job Type: Casual Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Licence/Certification

- BC ECE or ECEA license (required)
