Bentley School is seeking a caring, collaborative, and student-focused Educational Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will work closely with a classroom teacher, school administration, and other support staff to provide meaningful support for students, while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Assignment

- Part-time 0.60 FTE Educational Assistant position
- Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year
- Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support to identified students within Kindergarten to Grade 4
- Assist with academic, behavioural, and social-emotional interventions
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to implement student learning and support plans
- Support inclusive practices and help students fully participate in school and classroom activities
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment

Qualifications and/or Assets:

- Experience working with students with complex needs




- Background and/or experience supporting academic and behavioural needs
- Skill in providing one-to-one and small-group instruction
- Ability to support students within inclusive classroom environments
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional demeanor
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning workplace
- Flexibility and adaptability in implementing programming specific to individual student needs
- Commitment to student success and inclusive education
- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant or in Early Childhood Development
