Job Summary

This is a leadership-focused role for someone who has spent years in the electrical field and understands what it takes to complete projects properly, efficiently, and safely.

The successful candidate will play an significant role in estimating, coordinating, and overseeing electrical projects while providing technical guidance and support to the team. This position is ideal for an experienced electrician who wants to use their field knowledge in a project management and leadership role while continuing to contribute to the growth of the company.

Duties

- Prepare estimates and quotes for electrical projects.
- Review plans, scope of work, materials, and labour requirements.
- Coordinate projects from estimating through completion.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, trades, and team members.
- Help organise scheduling, materials, and project requirements.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and ownership team to ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and within budget.
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues, and provide practical, technical solutions.
- Assist with training, mentoring, and developing upcoming electricians.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the electrical team when needed.
- Assist with project invoicing by reviewing completed work and communicating project billing information to the appropriate team member.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Help identify potential project issues before they become problems.




- Support the team in delivering quality electrical work and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

- An experienced, skilled electrician with strong field knowledge.
- Comfortable preparing estimates and understanding project costs.
- Organised and efficient with strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficient with computers and construction industry software.
- Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, and team members.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Comfortable providing technical guidance and assisting with troubleshooting.
- Interested in menoring and training the next generation of electricians.
- Someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and getting the job done right.

This is an opportunity for an experienced electrical professional to move into a role with greater responsibility, leadership, and involvement in project planning and coordination. Your field experience will be an important part of the position, allowing you to bring practical electrical knowledge to estimating, project coordination, troubleshooting and team development. You will work closesly with the Project Manager and ownership team to help keep projects moving, support the electrical team, and ensure biling and prject details are communicated accurately.

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
