New Era Grafix is a fast-paced promotional solutions company in London, Ontario, and we’re looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our production team as an Embroidery Machine Operator.

Our embroidery department handles a wide variety of custom apparel and projects, so we’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with computers, and able to follow work orders and instructions accurately.

Embroidery and/or sewing experience is a strong asset, but it is not required. We are happy to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

This is a full time, permanent position. Candidates must be available Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

What You'll Do:

- Operate commercial multi-head embroidery machines
- Read and follow work orders to determine designs, placement, colours and production requirements
- Set up embroidery machines according to job specifications
- Hoop garments using the appropriate backing, hoop size and placement
- Load garments and designs onto embroidery machines
- Monitor machines throughout production and make adjustments when required
- Inspect finished garments to ensure embroidery placement and quality meet our standards
- Identify errors or quality concerns before continuing production
- Perform routine machine care, including cleaning, oiling, changing bobbins and other basic maintenance
- Trim, fold, sort and package completed garments as required
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Safely lift, carry and move boxes of garments when required
- Work with other members of the production team to meet deadlines




- Follow company procedures and workplace safety requirements
- Complete other production-related duties as assigned

- Previous embroidery, machine operation or production experience is an asset
- Previous sewing experience is also considered an asset
- Creative, crafting or other hands-on experience can be beneficial
- Experience is not required — training will be provided to the right candidate
