ESTHETICIAN WANTED — MOUNTAIN OASIS SPA & TANNING

Mountain Oasis Spa & Tanning was established in December 2024 and we are looking for a reliable, passionate Esthetician to join our small team in beautiful Canmore, Alberta.

We’re a small spa located just off Main Street, in the heart of Downtown Canmore. We aren't your typical day spa — alongside our esthetic services, we also offer tanning services. The music is upbeat, the atmosphere is fun (unless there's a facial booked, then we know how to set a vibe that'll melt away all the stress). Our team is small, friendly, and focused on creating a fun, welcoming and relaxing experience for every client.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys esthetics, takes pride in their work, and is interested in building a loyal clientele while being part of a team that values and supports one another’s skills.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR The successful candidate must have a diploma or certificate from an accredited esthetics school and be comfortable providing a variety of services, including but not limited to:

- Facials
- Waxing
- Lash lifts
- Lash and brow tints
- Body treatments
- Manicures
- Pedicures

Manicures and pedicures are some of our most popular services, so strong confidence and ability in both is an important requirement for this position. We’re looking for someone who can step in and provide these services independently and confidently.

THE POSITION

- Part time or full-time available
- Full time: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM




- Part time availability can be discussed
- $20/hour + 20% commission on services and retail sold to start
- OR
- 50% commission on services + 50% commission on retail sold to start
- Opportunity to build and grow your own clientele
- Small, supportive team environment
- Potential gas compensation may be available for the right candidate travelling from outside of Canmore

A FEW KEY DETAILS This position is based in Canmore, Alberta, and preference will be given to applicants who are already living in Canmore or the surrounding area.

We do not provide staff accommodation or sponsorships for out-of-country applicants.
