Support meaningful resident engagement at Extendicare as a Recreation Programs Aide. Play a key role in delivering enjoyable activities that enrich the lives of seniors part-time. Reporting directly to the Recreation Manager, you will assist in planning, organizing, and implementing dynamic programs tailored to residents' needs.

Your effective communication with families and volunteers will ensure a collaborative environment while helping to record program participation accurately. You’ll also participate in ongoing education to stay updated on best practices in senior care. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning engaging activities for residents
- Keep accurate records for assessments and participation
- Maintain open communication with residents and families
- Facilitate transportation for resident outings
- Evaluate daily activities and support meal services Requirements:
- Diploma in Recreation or related studies required
- Experience with senior care preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Solid oral and written communicative ability
