Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations for individuals of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage medication administration, including prescribing appropriate medications and monitoring their effects.
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
- Perform procedures related to pain management, pediatrics, and home care as needed, adhering to safety standards.




- Collect and analyze health data to monitor patient progress and inform treatment strategies.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation, scheduling, and communication purposes.

Skills

- Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments.
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures relevant to family medicine.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations.
- Experience with data collection for research or quality improvement projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical office operations including appointment scheduling and record management.
- Ability to perform home care visits and coordinate community-based health services.
- Competence in medication administration, pain management techniques, and pediatric care practices.
