Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and reliable Fencer/Labourer to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site Fence Installer/Labourer role based in Edmonton, Alberta. Tasks include preparing job sites, measuring and marking layouts, digging post holes, setting posts, and installing various types of fencing including Chainlink, Timber, Vinyl, Ornamental, and Gates. Daily tasks include using hand and power tools, mixing and pouring concrete, assembling fence panels, and ensuring installations meet company quality and safety standards. This role also involves loading and unloading materials, maintaining tools and equipment, and following instructions from supervisors to complete projects on schedule.

Fence

Installers will interact professionally with clients and team members, adhere to safety regulations, and help keep work areas clean and organized. Attention to detail will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This position offers an excellent chance to develop your skills in construction and trades, working alongside experienced professionals in a multitude of different environments.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute fencing projects.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to install fences, concrete forms, and other structures.
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring,



finishing and concrete forming tasks as needed for post setting and leveling.
- Perform repair work on damaged fencing.
- Assist in gate fabrication including prepping materials for creating gates as well as fabbing them once built.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment such as forklifts, skidsteers or other heavy machinery.

Requirements

- Proven experience in fencing or related trades with general labouring roles.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards as well as good communication.
- Valid drivers license required, other certifications related to construction equipment operation are a plus but not mandatory.
