Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fence Foreman to lead and oversee fencing construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality fencing solutions that meet project specifications. Your leadership will drive project efficiency, maintain quality standards, and foster a collaborative team environment.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage multiple projects, develop your supervisory skills, and contribute to the successful completion of fencing installations across diverse sites. This is a full time, on-site Fence Installer/Foreman role based in Edmonton, Alberta. Tasks include preparing job sites, measuring and marking layouts, digging post holes, setting posts, and installing various types of fencing including Chainlink, Timber, Vinyl, Ornamental, and Gates.

Daily tasks include using hand and power tools, mixing and pouring concrete, assembling fence panels, and ensuring installations meet company quality and safety standards. This role also involves loading and unloading materials, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring that your crew is on track to complete projects on schedule. Foreman will interact professionally with clients and team members, adhere to safety regulations, and help keep work areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise and assist fencing crew, assigning tasks and maintaining progress to ensure timely project completion
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute fencing layouts
- Oversee site safety protocols,



ensuring all team members adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety standards and paperwork is filled in and completed daily.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and office staff to obtain required job details, procure materials, and resolve on-site issues
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout construction phases to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Manage project budgets by tracking additional material used, additional time required and unforeseen changes on jobsites.
- Utilize blueprint reading skills and fencing techniques to plan and install work accordingly

Skills

- Proven supervising experience in fencing or general construction projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and fencing processes
- Proficiency with tools required for fencing including post pounder, skidsteer, auger attachments, drills and other hand tools
- Excellent understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures in construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately
- Skilled in coordinating multiple aspects of large-scale projects
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors
