Boart Longyear is seeking Field Mechanics to join their team in Thunder Bay, Ontario. These professionals will be responsible for maintaining and repairing drilling equipment used in mining and exploration. The ideal candidates are experienced, safety-focused, and hold relevant trade certifications. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in drilling services and technology.

What You’ll Need

- Millwright or Heavy-Duty Mechanic Trade Certification (Red Seal)
- Completion of secondary school
- Three- to five-year apprenticeship program
- Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a driver’s abstract
- Standard First Aid
- Typically 3+ years of directly related experience

What Will Make You Stand Out

- Experience with LM drills, Swick drills, Minecats, and Kubotas
- Underground common core
- Basic Safety Orientation
