We specialize in retrofit fireplace projects, wood-burning systems, gas fireplaces, inserts, stoves, chimneys, venting, and custom installations throughout Greater Victoria and surrounding areas.

We take pride in quality workmanship, excellent customer service, and doing installations properly and safely.

The Position

We are looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined Fireplace Installer to join our installation team.

This is a hands-on construction position ideal for someone with experience in carpentry, masonry, renovations, roofing, HVAC, general construction, or another skilled trade.

Previous fireplace experience is an asset, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings solid construction skills, a strong work ethic, and an interest in developing a long-term career in the trades.

A Gas Fitter apprenticeship opportunity is available for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

- Install wood and gas fireplaces, inserts, stoves, chimneys, liners, and venting systems.
- Complete retrofit installations in existing homes as well as new construction and renovation projects.
- Read and follow manufacturer installation manuals, specifications, plans, and technical drawings.
- Perform framing, carpentry, masonry, cutting, drilling, sealing, and other construction work required for installations.




- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and job-site equipment.
- Work on roofs and at heights when completing chimney and venting installations.
- Protect customers' homes and maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and develop practical solutions in the field.
- Work closely with installers, gas fitters, office staff, contractors, and homeowners.
- Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and company safety standards.
- Load, unload, and safely handle fireplaces, equipment, venting, and installation materials.

What We're Looking For The right candidate enjoys working with their hands, is mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

You should have

- Previous experience in construction, renovations, carpentry, masonry, roofing, HVAC, or a related trade.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to accurately measure, cut, level, assemble, and install materials.
- The physical ability to safely handle heavy fireplace components and equipment.
- Comfort working on ladders, roofs, and at heights.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Respect for customers,



their homes, and their property.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- A valid driver's licence and clean driving record.
- Reliability and punctuality.

Previous fireplace, chimney, WETT, gas, HVAC, sheet metal, masonry, or venting experience is considered an asset.
