TVS Power Equipment is a fast-growing, independently owned dealership in Kamloops. Since opening in 2023, we’ve grown quickly and continue to expand our service offering across powersports, lawn & garden, automotive, heavy-duty and commercial fleet work.

We’re looking for an experienced Fixed Operations Manager to take responsibility for our Service and Parts departments and help us build the operation for the next stage of growth.

This is a hands-on position. We need someone who understands how a shop operates, can keep technicians and work moving, and is comfortable dealing with customers, parts, scheduling, staffing and the day-to-day problems that come with a busy service department.

The Role

You will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of our Service and Parts departments.

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing daily Service and Parts operations
- Scheduling jobs and managing shop workflow
- Monitoring technician productivity, efficiency and labour sales
- Managing customer-pay, warranty and commercial/fleet work
- Keeping work orders moving from estimate through completion and invoicing
- Managing parts purchasing, inventory, pricing and margins
- Monitoring department performance and profitability
- Establishing and improving service processes and procedures
- Hiring, training and developing service and parts staff
- Managing customer concerns and service issues
- Overseeing warranty administration
- Working with ownership on staffing, equipment and future expansion
- Using Lightspeed DMS for work orders, invoicing and reporting
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, customer service and professionalism

What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone with real-world experience managing a service operation.



Your background could be in powersports, automotive, heavy equipment, trucking, fleet maintenance or a similar industry.

You should have

- Service management or supervisory experience
- A strong understanding of shop workflow and labour efficiency
- Positive organizational and communication skills
- The ability to manage people and hold them accountable
- A strong understanding of service department profitability
- The ability to deal with customers professionally, including difficult situations
- A practical, hands-on approach to management
- High standards for quality and workmanship
- A strong work ethic and personal integrity

Experience with Parts management, heavy-duty/fleet service, powersports and Lightspeed DMS would be an asset. A mechanical or trade background is also an asset, but we’re primarily looking for someone who knows how to run a service department and lead a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$96,000.00 per year
