Responsibilities

- Manage daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, dispatching, and route planning to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections to ensure fleet safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to track vehicle performance, fuel usage, and operational data.
- Coordinate with procurement teams on sourcing vehicles, parts, and supplies through procurement processes and vendor negotiations.
- Implement process improvements related to fleet management, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling to streamline workflows.
- Monitor freight movements, 3PL (third-party logistics) providers, and shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery while controlling pricing strategies.




- Maintain detailed records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), AS400 systems, or warehouse management systems for accurate data analysis and reporting.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution, supply chain management, and transportation logistics.
- Proficiency in warehouse experience including order picking, packaging, shipping & receiving operations.
- Expertise in transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management system (WMS), ERP systems, and AS400 platforms.
- Excellent data analysis skills to interpret operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, demand planning, pricing models, and freight negotiations.
- Ability to operate forklift equipment safely within warehouse environments.
- Experience with materials management, demand forecasting, order fulfillment procedures, and warehouse distribution strategies.

Pay: $53,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
