SkyNorth Air Ambulance is seeking experienced and adaptable Advanced Care Paramedic (ACPs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team as Flight Relief - Aeromedical Attendants The Flight Relief Aeromedical Attendant (Aero-A) works a one-week-on, one-week-off rotation and provides operational coverage for both ground and air medical transport.

During scheduled rotations, the successful candidate will:

- Work Quick Turn ground transport shifts.
- Provide flight-line relief and fill flight shifts as operationally required.

Aero-A will remain on call during scheduled ground shifts and be available to meet incoming aircraft. Individual assumes transfer of patient care from the flight crew in Winnipeg to the receiving medical facility. When working flight line relief shifts, relocation to northern bases required.

Flight relief shifts may occur on short notice during scheduled rotation to cover absences due to illness or injury. Relief assignments may also be scheduled in advance to provide coverage for vacations or other planned absences.

Orientation and training will be provided for both ground and flight operations.

Requirements:

Must be certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS and one of the following trauma courses - TNCC, PHTLS or ITLS.

- Paramedics must be current with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba (collegeparamb.ca)
- Paramedics must be currently practicing and have graduated from a recognized Advance Care Paramedic (ACP) program




- Minimum of two years of practice as an ACP is required.
- Nurses must be current with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (www.crnm.mb.ca).
- Nurses must have graduated from a recognized critical care / emergency course and have two years of related experience.

- Manitoba Child abuse Registry check (max 60 days old).
- Criminal Record Check with vulnerable person check (max 60 days old).
- All Aeromedical Attendants must complete a recognized CAMATA course / or equivalent such as ORNGE - Aeromedical Theory Course (online)
