You will play an important role in helping families feel supported by:

- Funeral Service Arrangements with families. Organizing meaningful and personalized funeral services to meet and exceed the family’s individual needs. Establishing a rapport and trust with families.
- Directing funeral arrangements with dignity, professionals and a high attention to detail.
- Relating to all families with warmth, respect, and professionalism.
- Providing a high level of care and attention to detail when embalming.
- Helping ensure every detail is handled with dignity and attention.




- Assist when necessary transferring loved ones into the care of the funeral home.

Requirements:

- Funeral Director Education Diploma- Class 1& Embalming License
- Valid Ontario “G” driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift 100 lbs. and remain on your feet throughout the day
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Must place client satisfaction as a top priority

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, every third weekend and on-call shifts · Strong communication with both the team and client families

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Experience

- funeral arranging and embalming: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Class 1 Funeral Director Education Diploma (required)
