C.I.G. Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. is looking for a reliable and experienced G2 Gas Technician to join our growing team in Ottawa and the surrounding area.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently and as part of a team, and provides skilled, friendly service to our customers.

Responsibilities

- Service, troubleshoot, repair and install residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
- Work on furnaces, boilers, water heaters, tankless water heaters, fireplaces and other gas-fired equipment
- Assist with air conditioning, heat pump and HVAC installations and service
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend appropriate repairs
- Complete gas piping and related work in accordance with applicable codes and regulations
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and office staff
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area
- Follow all company and workplace safety procedures

Qualifications
- Valid Ontario G2 Gas Technician certificate – required




- Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record
- HVAC service and installation experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable, punctual and organized
- Able to perform the physical requirements of HVAC service and installation work
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation

Additional HVAC certifications, including 313D/313A, ODP and G1, are considered an asset.

Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
