DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

Grading and sorting potatoes based on product type and quality.

Removing rocks, soil, vines, plant material and other debris from the harvested product.

Identifying potatoes that do not meet the required quality or product specifications.

Helping ensure debris does not enter or clog the processing equipment.

Keeping your work area clean and following food safety and workplace safety requirements.

Working as part of the harvest team and following direction from the supervisor.

This is a hands-on agricultural role that requires attention to detail, positive judgement and the ability to stand and work around moving product and equipment for extended periods.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Education/Certifications:
- No formal education is required

Skills: Experience in the agriculture field is an asset, however, we would consider providing comprehensive training to candidates who show a strong competency in problem-solving, shows a positive team player attitude, and is a hard-working self-starter.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

- Physically Demanding
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending.
