Responsibilities

- Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes
- Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately to ensure timely dispatch of goods
- Operate heavy machinery safely, including forklifts and cranes, following all safety protocols
- Manage warehouse inventory through proper storage, organization, and documentation within the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety standards for heavy lifting and construction-related tasks




- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment

Qualifications

- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or similar industrial environments is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Construction or industrial experience that demonstrates comfort with load handling and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail for order picking, shipping & receiving documentation, and safety procedures
- Valid certification for forklift operation or crane operation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
