Delta Power Equipment is a full-service farm and construction equipment dealership with more than 450 employees across Ontario. Our teams work together to support customers and keep our dealerships, equipment, and operations running smoothly.

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced, and dependable individual to join our Renfrew team. This position is ideal for someone with a background in general maintenance, carpentry, renovations, construction, or another skilled trade.

You’ll play an important role in supporting building improvements, renovations, property maintenance, and day-to-day dealership operations.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This is a practical, hands-on position involving a variety of renovation, repair, and maintenance projects.

You’ll be involved in

- Assisting with store renovations, improvements, and construction projects
- Completing general carpentry, repairs, and building maintenance
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining fixtures, doors, walls, flooring, and other building components
- Supporting framing, drywall, painting, finishing, and other renovation tasks
- Using hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
- Identifying building maintenance needs and helping determine appropriate solutions
- Coordinating materials, tools, and supplies required for projects
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Completing general property and facility maintenance as required
- Supporting yard maintenance, landscaping, and seasonal snow removal when needed
- Moving and operating equipment as required
- Working with store teams and contractors to help keep projects moving




- Assisting with additional maintenance and improvement projects across the dealership as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We’re looking for someone who can confidently take on a variety of hands-on tasks and is comfortable learning and adapting to new projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience in carpentry, general contracting, renovations, building maintenance, or a skilled trade
- Practical knowledge of construction, repairs, and maintenance
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow project instructions
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- Dependable work habits and a positive team attitude
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience pulling a trailer is an asset
- Experience operating equipment or machinery is an asset

A background in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, framing, or another relevant trade is an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is a hands-on role that may involve working both indoors and outdoors.

You should be comfortable with:

- Lifting up to 75 lbs
- Standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling,



and carrying materials
- Working on ladders and performing physical maintenance tasks
- Working in varying weather conditions when required
- Using tools and equipment safely
- Local travel when required
- Overtime as needed
- Wearing required PPE, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
