GENERAL MANAGER — THE VAULT FITNESS

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Job Type: Full-time

Expected Hours: 44–50 hours per week with scheduling flexibility

Compensation: Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus opportunity

ABOUT THE VAULT The Vault is a premium fitness and wellness facility built around performance, exceptional service and community.

We are looking for an experienced, driven and highly accountable General Manager to oversee our daily operations, lead our team and support the continued growth of the business.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands that an exceptional facility requires strong systems, consistent execution and a team committed to the same standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee day-to-day gym operations
- Lead, develop and support staff across all departments
- Establish clear accountability systems and oversee employee performance
- Drive membership sales, conversion strategy and revenue growth
- Strengthen member experience, retention and community engagement
- Oversee labour efficiency, key performance indicators and operational reporting
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and local business outreach
- Maintain exceptional standards for cleanliness, presentation and service
- Address member questions, concerns and feedback professionally
- Support business development, partnerships, events and promotional initiatives
- Lead turnaround execution where applicable
- Perform other duties reasonably associated with the scope of the position

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven management or senior leadership experience within the fitness industry
- Strong understanding of gym operations,



membership sales and retention
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and hold a team accountable
- Strong sales, communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with budgets, labour targets, KPIs and performance reporting
- Highly organized, dependable and capable of managing competing priorities
- Confident handling difficult conversations and making timely decisions
- Proactive, solution-oriented and comfortable working independently
- Passionate about fitness, wellness and building a solid community
- Available to work a flexible schedule when required, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
