We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented certified Glazier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will help ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our clients’ spaces. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut glass accurately using hand tools and schematics to meet project specifications
- Work independently and as a team when required
- Install glass panels, windows, storefronts, and other glazing components in accordance with blueprints and safety standards
- Prepare surfaces by removing old glazing materials or framing as needed for seamless installation
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency of installed glass units
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
- Perform restoration work on damaged or outdated glass features to restore their original appearance and functionality
- Assist with related construction tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 3 Years experience in a similar role
- Proven experience with hand tools and construction practices, especially in glazing or related trades
- Background check/Vulnerable Sector check
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of glazing products
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on job sites
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure exact installations
