Caistorville Golf Club is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Grounds Crew Member to join our golf-course maintenance team.

The position will begin part time, with the opportunity to transition into full-time employment as you develop within the role and demonstrate your commitment to the team.

About the Role The primary responsibility of this position will be fairway mowing, along with assisting our maintenance team with a variety of daily golf-course and groundskeeping duties.

You will work as part of a supportive, hands-on team dedicated to maintaining the course to a high standard for our members and guests. Each day offers the opportunity to learn new skills, operate specialized equipment, and contribute to the appearance and playability of the golf course.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys active outdoor work, takes initiative, and is interested in growing with a professional golf-course maintenance operation.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial mowing equipment to maintain golf-course fairways

Perform fairway mowing efficiently and to a high standard

Assist with general golf-course maintenance and daily course preparation

Complete groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance projects

Assist with course setup and seasonal maintenance tasks

Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet daily goals

Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized

Clean, inspect, and properly maintain equipment

Report equipment problems or course conditions to management

Follow proper equipment operating and safety procedures

Work independently while contributing positively to the team

Take initiative and help identify tasks that need to be completed

Perform other duties as required





Qualifications

Required

Previous experience in golf-course maintenance, landscaping, groundskeeping, or a similar outdoor position

Experience operating commercial mowing equipment

Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to follow direction and learn new skillsStrong attention to detail

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Valid driver’s licence An asset:

Previous golf-course fairway mowing experience

Experience operating fairway mowers, tractors, or other turf equipment

Mechanical or equipment-maintenance experience

Knowledge of turf and golf-course maintenance practicesInterest in developing a long-term career in golf-course maintenance
