The Municipal District of Bonnyville invites applicants for the position of Guest Relations Attendant (Seasonal) in the Community Services Department.

Function:

The Guest Relation Attendant will be responsible for meeting, greeting, and assisting guests by answering inquiries, selling tickets, and marketing the products, services, and programs of Kinosoo Ridge Resort.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Answer guest inquiries in a prompt and professional manner by telephone, e-mail, and in person, as well as refer guests to appropriate individuals/departments for further assistance.
- Assist in developing guest relations in a professional manner, while providing quality customer service to provide a positive guest experience.
- Sell tickets, passes, gift cards, and any other resort products, as well as promote special events.
- Assist in daily cash flows by completing and balancing daily cash outs.
- Organize and file documents.
- Inventory tracking.
- Assist with events.
- May be cross trained in other areas as required to provide coverage.
- Ensure all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures are followed in a consistent manner.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.
- Occupational Health and Safety legislation.

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service skills, with previous experience in a customer service role considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with guest relations will be considered an asset.
- Excellent sales and cash handling skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Detail oriented and well organized.
- A personable and positive attitude when dealing with customers.
- Ongoing commitment to safety.
- Will be required to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
- Class 5 driver's license will be considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

- High customer volume and fast paced environment.
- Length of day may vary depending on customer demands, project deadlines and seasonal patterns.
- Must have a flexible schedule with the availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

- Required to stand for extended periods of time.
- May lift or carry items up to 25lbs.
