Guest Service/Food and Beverage Manager Responsibilities:

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Guest Service and Food & Beverage departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective operations.
- Develop and implement departmental strategies, operational controls, revenue maximization initiatives, and cost-control measures to support continuous improvement as approved.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate Guest Service and Food & Beverage staff.
- Establish high performance standards and provide direction, coaching, and feedback to ensure consistent service and operational performance.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by leading by example and resolving guest complaints in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Ensure compliance with all company standards, health and safety, sanitation, food handling, cash handling, and operational procedures.
- Monitor daily departmental revenue, labour, inventory, and expenses; complete applicable Waterpark revenue reports, labour tracking,



and departmental reports.
- Oversee inventory controls, Point of Sale procedures, and Guest Service and Food and Beverage cash balancing procedures.
- Conduct performance evaluations, daily scorecards, inspections, and/or secret shopper programs to monitor service standards.
- Maintain and update departmental control and procedure manuals as required.
- Work closely with other departments and management to ensure effective Waterpark operations and a seamless guest experience.
- Participate in the Manager On Duty schedule and perform other duties as assigned.
- Daily and weekly Food ordering. Monitoring Retail shop and ordering when items are low

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with experience in Guest Services and Food & Beverage.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong guest service, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, coach, and develop a team.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, accounting, and basic mathematical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of computerized Point of Sale systems; Squirrel and Yellow Dog experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, food handling, and cash control procedures.
- Smart Serve and Safe Food Handler certification required.
- Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to participate in a Manager On Duty schedule.
